GENERAL

The site lies in the northern outskirts of the ancient city of Naxos (Naxos/Chora). Due to great erosion and landslides the hill has a steep northern face rising sharply above the see. A votive deposit of the Geometric-Archaic period was revealed. Tha character of the finds suggest a female divinity.
