Sanctuary

 GENERAL

A rural sanctuary has been found on a hill south of Minoa, in the area of Lefkes. On the hill lies the church of Agia Eirini.

MOVABLE FINDS: VOTIVE OFFERINGS & CULT EQUIPMENT

Surface sherds date to the early 7th c. BC.

CHRONOLOGY

Architectural remains date to the Hellenistic Period, but surface sherds date to the early 7th c. BC.
