MONUMENTS

There is no record for architectural remains related to the cult of Apollo or Hermes. Inside the church of Panaghia Sotiriou  decrees mentioning the name of Apollo Pythios have been found. A votive inscription records the name of Hermes. An inscription mentions the existence of a Bakcheiion.

CHRONOLOGY

Both the degrees and the votive inscription date to the 5th c. BC. The inscription, recording Dionysus Bakcheios, dates to the Classical period.
