Sanctuary of Apollo (?)

GENERAL

Koresia is situated in the deep bay of Aghios Nikolaos, 4 km away from Aghia Irini, at the NW coast of the island.

MONUMENTS

N of the acropolis of Aghia Triada have been revealed the foundations of a small Doric temple in antis (15.46x7.72 m). It is oriented to the S. Fragments of Corinthian tiles, of capitals in poros and a fragment of a pilaster in marble have been collected nearby.
